Student Directory is now available online


The 2012-2013 Student and Staff Directory is now available for you to view. Access to the directory is for PTA members only. You will receive an email with the password to the Student Directory tab. If you are a member and have not received the email with the password, please contact us so we may verify your membership and grant access to it.  If you have not yet renewed your membership, it's not too late.  Just fill out the membership form and turn it in to the school.

Please do not share the password or the directoryHaving access to the directory is one of many benefits of renewing your membership.  We appreciate your cooperation.  If you have lost/forgotten the password, please contact us.

Please note that students full name should not be visible on the front of the entry- but they MUST complete the student entry form and have a parent sign the form. Boosterthon Pep Rally - Tuesday, October 16th

What better way to kick off our school fundraiser than with a pep rally!  Students and teachers are ready for their "Epic Adventure".  Help support our students as they put character action into practice and raise money for our Boosterthon Fun Run!

Highway Road Trip begins October 16th! 
The Boosterthon Fun Run program is a healthy alternative to traditional product sales that raises much-needed funds for our school and many others across America. The nine-day Boosterthon Program also promotes three specific values during the fun-filled experience: Fitness, Leadership, and Character. This year’s character theme is “HIGHWAY USA,” and it’s all about CHOICES!

Our students will be building character by learning five important choices to make:
  • Choose Leadership
  • Choose Character
  • Choose Learning
  • Choose Fitness
  • Choose a good Attitude

OCTOBER 16TH - PEP RALLY

OCTOBER 25TH - FUN RUN
 K-2: 8:30am & 3-5: 9:30am


BOOSTERTHON FUN RUN BASICS
The event will kick off with a 30-minute school-wide Pep Rally on October 16th and conclude on October 25th with the Boosterthon Fun Run event. Students will be getting pledges towards the number of laps they will run at the Boosterthon Fun Run. Students will run between 25-35 laps. 35 is the lap cap.  

Every student participates in the Fun Run, regardless of pledges raised, and receives a “Boosterthon All-Star” t-shirt.

Enter your pledges at FUNRUN.COM.  Each student has his/her own safe and secure Boosterthon Fun Run webpage to log in pledges and watch character videos.  Sponsors will also have the ability to pay their pledges online.  All pledges are tax-deductible! This is the major fundraising event for the year! Thanks in advance for supporting Phillips Elementary PTA!

Fall Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon

 

It may not be November just yet but we here at Phillips Elementary are already in a thanks-giving mood! Our kindergarteners, alongside the Phillips PTA, are teaming up to throw our school’s first ever Fall Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 18th in room 122 (PTA room).

PTA Meeting and Game Night Tonight

A Note from the Principal

Dear Phillips Parents,

We had a fantastic first week at Phillips!  Thanks to your help and cooperation, our students have had such smooth beginnings and endings to their school days.

We are working with our feeder campuses to make all of our transitions smooth, as well.  We appreciate your cooperation in not parking in the Stafford Parking Lot.  Some of their staff members could not park in their spaces this morning because some Phillips parents were parked in their spots.  Again, please do not park at Stafford in the mornings and afternoons during arrival and dismissal.

We are so grateful for your support and cooperation.  You are making all the difference for our school, and we can only be great with your help and involvement!

Online Registration to Start

This is a message from the Frisco Independent School District.

We will soon begin the online registration process for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year using our online registration platform called InfoSnap. You will receive a separate email invitation that contains a unique registration code or “snapcode” for each student that needs to be registered, along with instructions on how to begin the registration process. These email invitations will begin going out on Monday, July 30th. Since invitations will be sent in batches over the course of up to a week’s time, if you have not received an invitation email and snapcode for all your students by Wednesday, August 8th, please contact your child’s campus. Thank you very much!
