Fall Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon

 

It may not be November just yet but we here at Phillips Elementary are already in a thanks-giving mood! Our kindergarteners, alongside the Phillips PTA, are teaming up to throw our school’s first ever Fall Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 18th in room 122 (PTA room).

Spirit Night at Spring Creek BBQ on October 2nd

Monday, Sept. 17: Your Future is Bright! Wear bright colored clothing.
Tuesday, Sept. 18: College Rocks! Wear college spirit gear.
Wednesday, Sept. 19: Dress for success! Dress in professional clothes.
Thursday, Sept. 20: Heading off to College. Wear a hat.
Friday, Sept. 21: Show your school spirit. Wear a Phillips shirt.

PTA Meeting and Game Night Tonight

When: September 13th at 7:00pm (Following a short PTA Meeting) Where: Phillips Elementary Cafeteria Please join us for a night of family fun!!

Please bring a new or slightly used board game or legos to be donated to the school. There will be a lego station for kids to build projects with their friends. Bring your favorite board game to play with your family. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Curriculum Night

 Don't forget that tonight is Curriculum Night at Phillips.

K-2 is 5:30pm-6:30pm

3-5 is 6:30pm-7:30pm

A Note from the Principal

Dear Phillips Parents,

We had a fantastic first week at Phillips!  Thanks to your help and cooperation, our students have had such smooth beginnings and endings to their school days.

We are working with our feeder campuses to make all of our transitions smooth, as well.  We appreciate your cooperation in not parking in the Stafford Parking Lot.  Some of their staff members could not park in their spaces this morning because some Phillips parents were parked in their spots.  Again, please do not park at Stafford in the mornings and afternoons during arrival and dismissal.

We are so grateful for your support and cooperation.  You are making all the difference for our school, and we can only be great with your help and involvement!
